Prostate Cancer

Prostate Cancer is the second leading cause of death and affects one out every six men. It is twice as common in the african american population. It is caused by free radicals, damage to DNA, excessive salt, stress, animal protein, fat, lack of exercise, and hormonal imbalance.
Prostate Cancer is more common in African-Americans due to: stress, high salt, high animal proteins, fats, and dairy products in their daily diet. However, the instances of Prostate Cancer in Africa are the lowest in the world due to their low animal proteins and lack of dairy products.
In the early 1400s, enslaved African Americans had a diet that consisted of fresh vegetables, greens, collards, kale, cress, mustard and pokeweed as well as leftover foods from the plantation homes they worked at. This was similar to the diet they had when living in Africa. By the 1950s, their diet changed and consisted of Southern fried foods, gravy, puddings and pies (soul food). The combinations of high fat content and animal proteins have caused this new generation to frequently develop prostatic and cardiovascular diseases.
It has been shown that, in a lifetime, the chances of developing prostate cancer is about 10%, but only 3% are at risk for death due to the disease. Researchers have found that men between the ages of 30-40, have a 30% chance of having cancer cells. By the age of 50, the percentage increases to 40%. In most cases, the cells are clearly abnormal, but they are not at a stage in which they could multiply rapidly and spread. It has been found that by the age of 80, a multiplication of abnormal cells in the prostate occurs, but only half of males suffer from significant enlargement of the prostate. Only a quarter suffer from urinary symptoms.
Do not panic with the diagnosis of Prostate cancer and make a hasty decision. Be sure to work with your Doctor and order the PSA ZERO™ program. Keep your physiological function which nature has given you, and avoid over diagnosis and unnecessary procedures which can lead to loss of erection and urinary incontinence.
